Roof Repair in Purcell, OK
A stain on the ceiling or a few shingles in the yard does not always mean a new roof. We find where the water is actually getting in, show you what we saw and fix that spot so your home stays dry.

Fixing the Problem You Have, Not Selling One You Don't
Most roof leaks start small. A nail backs out, a rubber pipe boot cracks in the sun, or a strip of flashing pulls away from a chimney. Water follows the decking and rafters before it shows up, so the drip in your hallway can be several feet from the real opening. Our job is to trace it back and repair the cause, not just patch the spot that is wet.
We are a small team, and the person who inspects your roof is part of the crew that comes back to repair it. You are not handed from a salesperson to a stranger with a ladder. That means fewer details get lost and you always know who is on your roof.
When a repair makes sense, we say so. When the roof is near the end of its life and patching would only buy a season, we tell you that too, and we explain why with photos. If replacement is the better answer, our Roof Replacement page covers what that involves.
What Our Roof Repair Work Covers
- Leak tracing
- We compare the attic with the roof surface, following water marks, stained decking and damp insulation back to the point where water enters.
- Shingle replacement
- Cracked, creased or missing shingles are removed, and new ones are laid and sealed. We match color and profile as well as current products allow and tell you ahead of time if the difference will be noticeable.
- Flashing and pipe seals
- Metal at chimneys, sidewalls and valleys is refastened or replaced when it has worked loose or rusted through. The rubber collars on plumbing vents harden and crack over time, so we fit new ones. Together, these two spots are behind a large share of the leaks we find.
- Decking under the leak
- If a slow leak has softened the plywood under the shingles, we cut that section out and install sound wood before closing the roof back up.
- Vents and small penetrations
- Over time, exhaust caps along with box and ridge vents may split or let their seals fail. We reset or swap them out so rain pushed by wind doesn't find a way in.
- Photos and a plain explanation
- You get pictures of what we found and what we fixed, so you can see the work without climbing up yourself.
When Your Roof Is Asking for a Repair
Stains on ceilings or walls
Brownish rings or bubbling paint usually mean water has been getting in for a while. Finding the source early protects more of your drywall and insulation.
Shingles in the yard
After strong Oklahoma wind, loose tabs often land on the lawn. Each one leaves bare mat or nail heads open to the next rain.
Granules in the gutters
A heavy layer of sandy grit in the gutters or at the downspouts means the shingles are wearing thin. Have someone look before it turns into a leak.
Damp attic or musty smell
Wet insulation, dark spots on the decking or a stale odor upstairs can signal a slow leak that never makes it to the ceiling.
Lifted or curling edges
Shingles that flap in wind or curl at the corners no longer lie sealed, and that gap is where water starts working underneath.
What Moves the Cost of a Roof Repair
We put a number on a repair only after we have been up on the roof, because what you can see from the yard rarely shows the full picture. Your written estimate lists the work line by line, with a reason beside each charge. If we open things up and run into a surprise, we stop, show you what turned up and decide together before any added work begins.
How far the damage reaches
Replacing a single split pipe boot is quick work. A leak that has soaked a few feet of decking needs more time and more material.
Roof pitch and access
Steeper slopes need extra safety equipment and setup time. Spots hidden behind trees or sitting above a second story are slower to reach and work on.
Shingle style and matching
Standard asphalt shingles are easy to get. Discontinued lines and metal panels can take more effort to track down or match.
What's under the shingles
Soft plywood, rotted fascia or torn underlayment widen the job. We photograph any of it and walk you through the pictures before replacing anything.
How a Repair Visit Goes
- 1
A phone conversation first
You tell us what you are seeing and where. We ask how old the roof is and when the problem appears, then set a time that works for you.
- 2
A look from the attic and the roof
We go up into the attic, then onto the roof, snapping pictures until we track down where the problem starts. After that we sit down with you, go over what the photos show and give you a written estimate for the fix.
- 3
The repair day
The same crew comes back with the materials. We cover plants and shrubs near the work area, make the repair and seal everything up properly. Most repairs wrap up in one visit.
- 4
Cleanup and a final look
Old shingles, nails and scraps get hauled away, and we run a magnetic roller over the lawn and driveway to pick up stray nails. Before we leave, you see photos of the finished repair.

Roof Repair Questions We Hear Often
Is a repair enough, or is it time to replace the roof?
It comes down to the roof's age and how much of it is giving out. A single leak at the chimney on a roof that is otherwise sound is a simple fix. When the shingles have gone brittle on every slope, patching one area usually just moves the leak to the next weak point. We go through the photos with you and give you a straight answer about which situation you are in.
Will the new shingles match my roof?
We match color and style as closely as current products allow. Sun fades shingles over time and some lines are discontinued, so a slight difference may show at first. You hear about that from us before the work starts.
Can you fix a leak while it's still raining?
We won't send anyone onto a wet, slippery roof. If water is coming in, put a bucket under the drip and move valuables out of the way, then give us a call and we will book you for the first dry day that is safe to work.
Will the same people come back to do the repair?
Yes. Whoever looks at your roof is on the crew that repairs it. No one new shows up on repair day needing the whole story again.
Do you work outside Purcell?
We do. We take on roof repair in nearby towns including Noble, Norman, Goldsby and Blanchard. The Service Areas page shows everywhere we cover.
What if the damage came from a storm?
Hail and wind damage often leads to an insurance claim. Our Storm Damage Repair page explains how we record that kind of damage and what the process looks like for you.

Let's Find Where That Water Is Coming From
Give us a quick description of the leak or damage and we will pick a time to come take a look. The people who show up for that first visit are the same ones who handle the repair and the cleanup.
